WAKE COUNTY - Around 8:45 p.m. a green 1996 Chevrolet Blazer operated by Baron Fulk, was traveling south on Nowell Road and ran the stop sign at Nowell and NC 54. A 2003 silver Chevrolet Blazer, operated by Martha P. West, was traveling west on NC 54, collided with the green blazer. Several people stopped to aid the injured. A white Ford Van operated by Larry Robert Veeder, was traveling east on NC 54, struck the green blazer and several pedestrians at the collision seen.
Five people were killed at the scene as a result of the second collision. One died while enroute to Wake Medical.
Larry Robert Veeder, 32, with an address of, Watauga Street, Raleigh, is facing charges. The Patrol will be meeting with the Wake County DA concerning those charges.

Larry Robert Veeder has been charged with six counts if Involuntary Manslaughter and DWI as a result of the second collision. He is in the Wake County jail under a $100,000.00 bond.
