Forty-Six members of the State Highway Patrol will be promoted in ceremonies on Monday, June 30, 2003. The promotion ceremony will take place at 3:00 p.m. at the Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, Cary. Two members will be promoted to the rank of major, eight to the rank of captain, nine to the rank of lieutenant, eleven to the rank of first sergeant, and sixteen to the rank of line sergeant.
