Highway Patrol Basic Academy Graduation

The North Carolina Highway Patrol will graduate 13 new troopers from its 108th Basic Academy on Tuesday. Graduation will be held at the Kerr Scott Building on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh at 10 a.m. This is the first "Fast Track" class to graduate in the history of the Patrol. "Fast Track" schools accept applicants that have prior North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training. "Fast Track" schools are 16 weeks in length as compared to the traditional schools which lasts 29 weeks. We encourage you to cover this event.
