Highway Patrol Basic Academy Graduation

The North Carolina Highway Patrol will graduate 48 new troopers from its 106th Basic Academy on Tuesday. Graduation will be held at the Kerr Scott Building on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh at 10 a.m. Prior to the commencement of the ceremony the Golden Knights Parachute Team from Fort Bragg will be performing. Interesting facts about the class: ten are college graduates; 13 have associates degrees;12 have prior law enforcement experience; and 17 have prior military service.
