Highway Patrol Troopers charged drivers with 487 violations during a one-day speed reduction campaign on I-95 Friday. Here is a breakdown of the charges:
347 speeding violations
The purpose of this special emphasis is to crack down on aggressive drivers in an effort to reduce collisions. I-95 is typically one of the heaviest traveled corridors in North Carolina. The Patrol will conduct additional special enforcement campaigns in the future. |
