104th Basic School Graduation |
|
The North Carolina Highway Patrol will graduate 49 new troopers from its 104th Basic Academy on Thursday. First Lady Mary Easley will be the commencement speaker at the ceremony. Graduation will be held at the Dorton Arena on the North Carolina State Fairgrounds, 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh at 11 a.m. Interesting facts about the class: ten are college graduates; and 11 have associates degrees; 16 have prior law enforcement experience; 15 have prior military service; one is both the son of a current member and brother of a current member, and one is the brother of a current member of the Highway Patrol. We encourage you to cover this event. If you have any questions, please call our office at (919) 733-5027. |
