Governor's Crime Commission Meeting

The Governor's Crime Commission will hold its regular quarterly meeting on Thursday and Friday, December 13-14, at the Commission's offices at 1201 Front Street in Raleigh. An agenda is attached for your information. Commission members will get an update on the status of the state's anti-terrorism efforts from Bryan Beatty, Secretary of Crime Control and Public Safety and chair of the Governor's Terrorism Preparedness Task Force. The Commission is the chief advisory board to the Governor and the Secretary of the Department of Crime Control & Public Safety for the development and implementation of criminal justice policy. Its mission is to improve the quality of life of North Carolina's citizens, enhance public safety, and reduce and prevent crime by improving the criminal justice system.
