| RE: | "Drunkbusters" Demonstration at Providence High School in Charlotte |
|
Agents with the N.C. Division of Alcohol Law Enforcement's District VIII office in Charlotte will hold a "Drunk Busters" Demonstration in the parking lot at Providence High School in Charlotte on June 27, 28, and 29 during school hours. The demonstration is very visual. Students wear simulation goggles that impair coordination and vision similar to the effects that alcohol produces. Students then attempt to drive a golf cart through a cone course. ALE Agents supervise students and talk with them about the effects of alcohol and North Carolina's laws concerning underage consumption of alcohol. If you have questions, please contact Agent Kenneth Cauthen at 1-800-614-7654, or call me at (919) 733-5027. |
