MEDIA ADVISORY WHAT: Troy Douglas Carr Memorial Bridge Dedication Ceremony WHEN: Thursday, November 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. WHERE: The ceremony will be held at the northwest corner of the bridge in front of the Hampton Inn at Cross Creek Plaza Shopping Center in Fayetteville. In the event of rain, the ceremony will be held in the Conference Room-Meeting Level at the Hampton Inn in Fayetteville. COMMENTS: Secretary of Transportation Lyndo Tippett will join Board of Transportation Member Mac Campbell along with local officials at the dedication ceremony to officially name the bridge on U.S. 401 Bypass between Wal-Mart and Cross Creek Mall in Cumberland County as the Troy Douglas Carr Memorial Bridge.
