| RE: | ALE to Hold BARS Program for Thomasville Area Merchants |

The N.C. Division of Alcohol Law Enforcement will conduct a "Be A Responsible Server" program for any merchants in the Thomasville area who sells or serves alcohol, and their employees. The free program is being held that the request of Thomasville Police Chief Larry Murdock, after 40% of businesses tested during a compliance check sold alcohol to a minor. The program will be held on Wednesday, August 22 at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Thomasville Police Department. You are invited to cover either of the programs.
