1.  VIPER is estimated to cost $189 million to build

2.  VIPER is estimated to cost $7.5 million per year to maintain and support once the project is complete

• With 59% completed and only $2.5 million recurring to support the existing infrastructure, the VIPER statewide network is in jeopardy of not being supported properly without additional recurring funds.
