Final Highway Patrol Transition School Graduation at the Training Academy

 

The tenth and final session of the Motor Carrier Enforcement Officer's Transition School will graduate on Friday, October 6th. The ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, Cary.

The graduating MCE officers have completed an eight week course with over 325 hours of both classroom and practical training. The Transition School is the final stage of integration of the Motor Carrier Enforcement Officers into the Highway Patrol. Each graduate will be sworn in as State Troopers and will maintain their current rank.

Directions are as follows: From Garner, take Tryon Road approximately five miles west toward Cary. The church is located on the left after you pass through the Holly Springs Road intersection.
