Two Killed in Nash County Collision
RALEIGH- Troopers responded to the scene of a fatal collision today at 3:30 p.m. in Nash County. The collision occurred on I-95, northbound lanes, between the 139 and 140 mile markers. The vehicle,a white Mazda passenger car with South Carolina registration, was completely submerged in water with two bodies inside.
Troopers have identified the deceased as Wayne Anthony Guay, age 57 and Dianne Guay age 55 of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Troopers have confirmed that the vehicle and occupants were reported missing by South Carolina officials earlier today.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
