Background Checks

The North Carolina Court System has the complete database of charges and convictions made by state, county and city law enforcement agencies across North Carolina. 

The Dept. of Correction web site contains information on individuals who were sentenced to prison or probation or who are on parole.

The State Bureau of Investigation provides a finger-print-based criminal history background check for a processing fee of $14.  In North Carolina, this is commonly called a “right to review” check.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has a national right to review check for a fee of $18.
